The EMEA Board of Management are responsible for determining the overall strategy and policy of
the Firm in Europe. Each individual EMEA country Board is chaired by a member of the EMEA Board
of Management.
Paul Bacon: Chairman & CEO EMEA
Paul Bacon is CEO EMEA and Chairman of the EMEA Board as well as the Boards of the Italy,
France Spain and Russia. He is a Capital Markets specialist, and is
Lead European Partner of Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Capital Markets Group. Paul
started his career with Cushman & Wakefield (then Healey & Baker) in 1984 and was
subsequently responsible for establishing the firm's
Italian
business. He was also responsible for overseeing the expansion of the firm's highly
successful Central and Eastern European operations and the firm's entry into the Russian
market.
Glenn Rufrano: President & CEO
Glenn Rufrano is president and chief executive officer of Cushman & Wakefield and a member
of its board of directors. Prior to becoming President and CEO of Cushman & Wakefield, he
served as CEO of Centro Properties Group, CEO of New Plan Excel Realty Trust, and co-founder of
O’Connor Capital Partners. He serves on the Board of New York University’s Real Estate
Institute, and was previously a director of Trizec Properties.
Martin Bruehl: Managing Partner Germany
Martin Brühl is Managing Partner and
Chairman of Cushman &
Wakefield LLP Germany. Martin holds a German banking diploma and a Bachelor of Science
(Honours) degree from City University Business School, London. He is also a sworn valuer and a
Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, London. He joined Healey & Baker's
Valuation Advisory department in 1999, which he very successfully headed until he became
Managing Partner of Cushman & Wakefield Germany in 2005. As a member of the EMEA Board, he
is also Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield's Swedish office..
Liz Bunce: Partner, Head of HR EMEA
Liz Bunce is an Equity Partner and Head of EMEA Human Resources. She is a member of the UK and
EMEA C&W LLP and C&W Investors Boards. Liz joined the firm in September 2007 and has
over 20 years experience in Human Resources formerly holding HR Director positions at Clifford
Chance, Allen & Overy and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. She is a Fellow of the Chartered
Institute of Personnel Development.
Harry Farthing: Partner & Managing Director Italy
Harry Farthing is Managing Director of
Cushman & Wakefield
Italy. He joined Cushman & Wakefield in the office agency team in the City of London in
1987 and moved with the Firm to Lisbon in 1992, where he was active in valuations and office
and industrial agency. In October 2004 he was appointed Managing Director of Cushman &
Wakefield’s activities in Italy. In addition he is Chairman of
Cushman &
Wakefield's activities in the Middle East.
Jonathan Hallett: Managing Partner, Czech & Slovakia
Jonathan Hallett is Managing Partner of C&W’s operations in the Czech & Slovak
Republics. He has benefited from working with the Firm in Brussels, Paris and London. He became
a Partner in 2001, ran the retail agency in Prague until 2003 and continues to oversee the
International
Retail Team in the CEE region.
Philip Ingleby: Chief Operating Officer EMEA
Philip joined the firm from KPMG in 2002 and spent three years in Frankfurt where he was
responsible for
our German
operation. Returning to the UK, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer EMEA at the end of
2005. He is a member of the UK and EMEA Boards and is Chairman of the Boards of Belgium and
Germany.
Bryan Laxton: CEO Cushman & Wakefield UK
Bryan Laxton is the CEO of Cushman & Wakefield's UK operations which extend to 760
employees in seven offices. Bryan joined the firm in 1981, was appointed a salaried partner in
1989, an equity partner in 1997, a member of the UK management board in 2003 and an EMEA board
member in 2006. Bryan is also managing director of Cushman & Wakefield Finance Ltd, a
company regulated by the Financial Services Authority, advising on
indirect property investment and all forms of property finance, including
senior and mezzanine debt as well as joint venture arrangements. He is a member of the RICS
and authorised by the Financial Services Authority and is the current Chairman of the Reading
Real Estate Foundation.
Pierre Martinet: Chairman of EXOR France
Pierre Martinet is Chairman of EXOR France and a Member of the Board of Directors for EXOR
Luxembourg. He also Managing Director for Sequana Capital in Paris. Pierre is a Member of the
Supervisory Board of Cartier (Paris) and a Member of the Board of Directors for ArjoWiggins
Appleton Ltd. (United Kingdom). Pierre is also Vice Chairman of Exor USA.
John C. Santora: President and CEO, Americas
John C. Santora is Cushman & Wakefield’s President and Chief Executive Officer for the
Americas
and one of the commercial real estate industry’s most experienced global executives. A 31-year
veteran of Cushman & Wakefield, he oversees the firm’s largest operating region, which
includes 137 offices throughout North and South America. In addition, he is a member of the
firm’s senior governing body, the Cushman & Wakefield Board of Directors.
Eric VanLeuven: Managing Partner Portugal
Eric has been the Managing Partner of
C&W
Portugal since 1991 when the then Healey & Baker acquired his business. More recently
he set up the office in Greece and, in addition to this country, he is currently Chairman of
the Boards of C&W's offices in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and the firm's latest
opening, Romania.
Olivier Gérard: President of Cushman & Wakefield France
Olivier Gérard is President of Cushman & Wakefield France and Head of the Investment
department. Olivier, who enjoys 22 years experience in commercial real estate, is a member
Partner of Cushman & Wakefield and a member of the EMEA Board. In 2008, he was elected
"Best Agent" in France at the Pierre d'Or Awards, which were created by Expertise
Pierre, the leading commercial property magazine in France. Olivier Gérard, 47 years old, is a
graduate of the Institut Européen des Affaires (European business school). He started his
career in 1985 in the field of advertisement. After his first experience in a Parisian
commercial real estate agency, he joined Jones Lang Lasalle in 1989 when he focused on Paris
lettings markets. In 1996, he created the Occupier Sales department and then joined the
Investment department as Head of Sales for France. Olivier joined Cushman & Wakefield in
2005 as Head of the Investment department.
