Gateway Commercial, L.L.C. ("Gateway") is an independently owned and operated, full
service commercial real estate firm formed in 2005 by employees of Summit Realty Group and
Cushman & Wakefield of Missouri, Inc. Summit was founded by veteran St. Louis real estate
professionals John Ross and Phil Hulse through the merger of their respective independent
commercial real estate brokerage firms in 2003 and Cushman & Wakefield of Missouri, Inc.
had enjoyed a history of success as a branch office in St. Louis for sixteen years. This
combination allowed Gateway to expand its local market presence while maintaining Cushman &
Wakefield's global reach and service capabilities by becoming a member of the Cushman &
Wakefield Alliance.
Chris Fox, former Managing Director with C&W, retains that role at Gateway and is joined by
fellow C&W veterans Dennis DeSantis, Joe McGauley and Geoff Orf, as well as C&W's core
service group of marketing and research professionals.
Gateway's core services consist of Industrial Brokerage, Office Brokerage, Tenant
Representation, Investment Services, Land Acquisition, Build-to-Suit Services, Contract
Negotiation, Project Management, Property Management and full service Market Research and
reporting capabilities. In addition, a separate operating entity, Summit Development Group,
will continue to offer Turnkey Development Services, overseeing projects from conception to
occupancy.
