Repositioning a shopping centre

The Brief
Mundicenter, who manages and is the owner of Olivaishopping, decided to carry out an extensive refurbishment of the existing shopping centre. It was clear that this shopping, opened since 1996, was lacking an up to date lay-out for the shops and the centre.
It was also lacking the existence of new brands to bring forward the visitor traffic and capture the initial catchment area, which had gradually been lost over time.
C&W was asked for solutions regarding the tenant-mix and new shop formats.

Solution
There was an attempt to re-dimension the existing units in order to meet the increasing demand from the market’s main players for larger areas and also to introduce new and actual concepts to turn this into a modern and more appealing shopping centre for the final client.

Conclusion
C&W closed deals with national and international brands, such as C&A, Izi, Zippy, Sportzone, Só Peso, among others.
