Citibank are a corporate client of C&W’s Client Solutions team and C&W work as a member of the panel of three preferred service providers to provide Citi with coordinated and consistent real estate advice across EMEA.

The Outcome

In 2009, C&W acted for Citi in undertaking the following key transactions / services.

• Disposal of surplus space to multiple tenants of 100,000+ sq ft of space at Canary Wharf – ahead of the other occupiers ensuring best possible terms achieved.
• Strategic sale and leaseback of an office in Milan for a sales price of over €40m.
• Retail lease acquisitions in Central and Eastern Europe
• Retail lease disposal in London
• Valuation advise in Madrid
• Lease re-gears in Greece
• Lease advisory and dilapidations work in London
