Macquarie Global Property Advisors named C&W as leasing agent for M Tower, a 19-storey Grade A building
The Challenge
Macquarie Global Property Advisors appointed Cushman & Wakefield as leasing agent for M Tower, a newly developed 19-storey Grade A office tower with a gross floor area of 376,733-square-foot, located in the Central Business District of Seoul.
Our Impact
Cushman & Wakefield was bought in at the later stages of the project as joint leasing agent to strengthen the marketing coverage and source further opportunities. Our brokerage professionals targeted top credit multinational and domestic companies, especially those inhabiting high end building, and companies with multiple area office.
The Outcome
Three weeks after winning the appointment the team identified and secured ING Life Insurance as the sole tenant for the building. ING Life moved its head office, training, call and customer service centres to the M Tower. Impressed with Cushman & Wakefield’s performance, the client retained the Property Management team to manage the property on their behalf. This deal is a major achievement for the Korean office representing the second largest landlord leasing deal ever done in Korea by size and largest by value undertaken by any service provider.
