Sportscity, Manchester
In early 2004, the firm was appointed by Manchester City Council and New East Manchester to advise them on the sale of an 18.5 acres site adjacent to Manchester City Football Club for resort/casino development.

The Challenge
To devise and implement a marketing strategy to reach out to global casino operators, this site being the first to be formally tendered by a local authority since the proposed gambling deregulation.Our Impact
Our team, with their US links, established contact with worldwide casino operators and, through the tracking of the Gambling Bill by our Planning Department, we were ideally placed to help advise the client, through a short listing exercise, very detailed submissions and presentations, on the best operator with whom to agree a deal.The Outcome
