Brazil is an exception: In Rio de Janerio, rents have soared by 60% this year so far and are expected to go higher. Germany and Sweden are showing significant improvements, while Norway and the UK are also expected to outperform in 2011. Poland continues to stand out, while Russia, Slovakia and Turkey are also fairing well. Fighting back are Ireland, Estonia and the Ukraine. Greece, Portugal and Spain have further struggles ahead.
