Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) is the best property consultancy to work for in Spain,
according to the Great Place to Work 2008 ranking.
In the Spanish edition of the ranking, which the Great Place to Work Institute has drawn up
annually for over two decades in around 30 countries, the Institute has taken into account the
responses of more than 100,000 people from companies across all sectors. The results are based
on five fundamental characteristics that a best workplace must have: credibility, respect, fair
treatment, pride and a sense of camaraderie. For the first time, 50 companies form the ranking
in Spain, rather than 30 as in previous editions.
For ease of comparison, the Institute has divided the 50 best companies into five categories
according to the number of employees.
C&W is the only property consultancy that has appeared in the Spanish ranking for the
second year in a row. Moreover, it comes fourth overall among companies with between 100 and
250 employees.

Cushman & Wakefield opened its offices in Spain almost 20 years ago. Currently, over 140
employees work for Cushman & Wakefield in offices located in Madrid and Barcelona. Last
year, C&W Spain completed more than 500 transactions, advised on more than €1.35mn of
investment transactions, and valued 8.3 million square metres valued at €14.657mn. The main
clients of C&W in Spain are financial institutions, developers and investments groups, such
as Morgan Stanley, Seb, Corio, Klepierre, Sonae, Rodamco, Redevco, Banco Santander, BBVA,
Nexity; and tenants such as Swatch, Jimmy Choo, Nespresso, Oracle and Panasonic.
