Jens Böhnlein is to take over the Project Management department of Cushman & Wakefield
(C&W) in Germany as an Associate on 15 April 2012.
He was latterly Principal Project Manager with Jones Lang LaSalle in Frankfurt and as such
active in the office and commercial property segments throughout Germany, with a main emphasis
on Corporate Accounts. Having graduated in engineering he is a member of the Baden-Wuerttemberg
Chamber of Architects, and as a designated LEED Accredited Professional he has already been
responsible for several successful certifications in Germany.
Martin Bruehl, Managing Partner of C&W in Germany, stated: “In addition to steering the
extant Project Management department in our Frankfurt and Munich offices, Jens will initially
concentrate on expanding the team to our other German locations as well as broadening the range
of our services to include green buildings“. He also underlined the importance of Project
Management to international companies: “The client has a single point of contact who is
responsible for their construction activity or technical due diligence processes throughout
Europe. This means that over every phase of the project, deadlines, cost control and quality
are assured - even when they are not acting within their domestic market.”
Globally C&W’s 1,600 project managers have completed 4,500 projects; fit out, conversion
and due diligence (approx. 3,300 projects in EMEA) involving a total of some 22 million m² of
property (approx. 285,000 m² in EMEA).
