Brown and Caldwell takes space at 801 Figueroa Tower
Walnut Creek, CA-based Brown and Caldwell, an environmental engineering and consulting firm,
has signed a seven-year lease for 7,465 square feet of space at 801 South Figueroa Street in
Downtown Los Angeles. Andrew Altman from Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant
in the transaction. John Eichler from Cushman & Wakefield represented landlord Mani
Brothers.
Brown and Caldwell will occupy office space on the ninth floor of the 801 Tower, a 24-story
Class A building in the Figueroa financial corridor. Completed in 1992, the building is
one of the newest high-rise office towers in Downtown Los Angeles.
Brown and Caldwell is relocating from 11111 Santa Monica Boulevard where it has maintained
an office for the past two years. The firm operates from 45 offices across the country
and employs 1,500+ professionals.
With office rents surging on the Westside, more firms - that are not tied to the West L.A.
geography due to the nature of their business - are considering Downtown as a viable
cost-efficient and high-quality alternative for office space.
