Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Mitch Sigband has joined the firm’s
Orange County office as a Director, Client Solutions. Mr. Sigband was previously a
managing director at Equity Office and most recently at Maguire Properties, based in the
firm’s Orange County offices.
In his new role, Mr. Sigband will work closely with his property management team on
assignments across the Orange County and Inland Empire markets.
Mr. Sigband has more than 20 years of commercial property management experience. While
at Maguire Properties, he was overseeing the company’s property management functions,
including financial reporting, operations, capital planning and tenant services. Prior to
joining Maguire Properties, Mr. Sigband was Managing Director, Property Management for Equity
Office for approximately 12 years, where he was responsible for all aspects of property
management for the Orange County portfolio consisting of approximately 5.8 million square feet
of Class A office buildings and more than 700 customers. Prior to that, Mr. Sigband was
Portfolio Manager for Koll Management Services and Real Estate Manager for Coldwell Banker Real
Estate Services, where he began his real estate career.
Mr. Sigband holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University
of Southern California. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM), a member of the Institute of
Real Estate Management (IREM) and maintains a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation
with the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He is a BOMA
TOBY Office Building of the Year award winner and recipient of the Equity
Office “Building of the Year”, a prestigious annual award presented to the best
performing asset within the Equity Office national portfolio.
