Stephen
Norris, Partner in Cushman & Wakefield's
Client Solutions team was awarded the "Corporate Real Estate
Partner" category which recognises the
significant contribution to corporate real estate from an individual or
team.
Stephen Norris took on global responsibility for the development of the Nokia Siemens Networks
Real Estate Property &
Workplace Solutions platform, acting as an external consultant in an embedded role. Managing a
global team of NSN employees in a newly created culture, whilst running to keep pace with the
demands of the business created tremendous challenges. Stephen's enthusiasm, professionalism
and approachability saw him accepted and adopted by the team, with whom he was able to deliver
the results.
Cushman & Wakefield also
won the "Innovation in
Real Estate Award" for it's
Trainee Surveyor Scheme which is aimed at e
ncouraging the right mix of individuals from diverse backgrounds to enter
the property industry by actively targeting students from non-traditional property
backgrounds when recruiting on to training schemes. To this end Cushman & Wakefield created
a partnership with two
educational institutions, University of Westminster and Lambeth College, to offer students from
a socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity of a life
time.
