Top Office Brokerage Team Joins Cushman & Wakefield's Sacramento Office
11 Jan, 2011, Sacramento, Calif.
Cushman & Wakefield today announced the expansion of its Sacramento operations with the addition of six leading brokerage professionals. Ron Thomas, Kevin Partington, Bruce Hohenhaus, Chris Schwarze, Mark Tabak and Sean Mullen were all previously with Colliers International.
"We are pleased to welcome a group of such distinguished brokerage professionals to Cushman & Wakefield," said Joe Cook, Executive Vice President and Northwest Area Leader for Cushman & Wakefield. "These individuals comprise the top office leasing team in Sacramento, and with the addition of their talent Cushman & Wakefield will provide our clients with an expanded level of service in Northern California."
The team has consistently ranked among Colliers top brokerage professionals nationally and is frequently recognized for its success, having most recently won the honor of Top Office Sale for Northern California SIOR in 2010. The team's 2010 notable transactions include representing: Harsch Investment Properties in an 180,000-square-foot, 10-year lease with tenant ACS Healthcare; KBS Realty in an 80,000-square-foot, eight-year lease with the State of California and GSV Rancho Cordova in the 112,000-square-foot, long-term lease to HealthNet of California. Since the formation of their Capital Region Office Specialists (CROS) Team in 2003, the partnership has generated more than $21 million dollars in commission revenue for Colliers International.
"Sacramento is home to many institutions and corporations who require a full-service and global-reaching platform to meet their real estate needs," said Mr. Thomas, who has joined Cushman & Wakefield as an Executive Director. "Cushman & Wakefield's premier brand and reputation will allow our team to deliver the highest quality of service to our clients."
"The addition of this accomplished team underscores our commitment to recruiting best-in-class talent," said Jim Underhill, Cushman & Wakefield's CEO, Americas. "The team's collaborative approach to serving clients will greatly expand our presence in Sacramento."
Mr. Thomas will assume the responsibility of managing Cushman & Wakefield's Sacramento office, in addition to his role as a brokerage professional. Chris Strain, who stepped down from his management role at the end of 2010, will remain with Cushman & Wakefield as a broker continuing to focus on tenant representation.
