  • C&W Hospitality bolsters teams in Central and Eastern Europe and Spain.

    Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality is pleased to announce the opening of its Hungarian office, with the recruitment of Sasha Golubovic as an associate director and head of our Hungarian practice and Andrés Soldevila to our Madrid office. These appointments are in line with the firm’s aim to build on its existing hospitality team and significantly expand its presence and market share across EMEA.

    In Budapest, C&W Hospitality has recruited Sasha Golubovic, who has joined as an associate director with a focus on Hungary, the Balkans, Bulgaria and Romania and is based in the firm’s Budapest office. Sasha comes from a consulting, operational and development background, having worked most recently for Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in Munich as a vice president, prior to this as CEE Development Manager for Domina Hotels & Resorts, Milan and as a consultant at TRI Hospitality Consulting, Dubai among other industry positions. At JLL Hotels he spearheaded the teams drive into the CEE market, creating opportunities in the areas of investment, development, valuation and consulting. He has developed an extensive network of local contacts with development companies, fund managers, private hotel owners and investment banks.

    Andrés Soldevila has joined as a senior consultant in the firm’s Madrid office, complementing Tomás Miró, associate director, who began in June this year. Andrés has worked for Majestic Hotel Group, Ritz Carlton, and Morgan Stanley. Most recently he came from Pierre & Vacances in Spain, where he was an executive assistant manager responsible for completing market opportunity studies and economic and financial viability of hotel/condo-hotel development projects for the Pierre & Vacances, Maeva and P&V City (future Adagio, JV with Accor) brands. He has analysed more than 30 projects and brings a depth of knowledge in negotiating management and lease contracts in Spain. He is a regular speaker on condo-hotel and mixed-use opportunities and holds an MBA in International Hospitality Management from IMHI (Cornell – ESSEC) University in Paris.

    Sasha and Andréshave joined to complement C&W Hospitality’ team of over 20 professionals in London, Lisbon, Madrid and Prague.
