UMC a manufacturer of Televisions, from Nove Mesto nad Vahom has taken 4 000 sq m
within Log Center; a logistics location in Nove Mesto nad Vahom. UMC is
expected to move in April.
Peter Ocovan from Cushman & Wakefield, who was involved in the transaction said:
“This modern warehouse space met the requirements of UMC, not only by providing a
strategic location, but also the most appropriate and suitable size and quality of
product. It is these factors which influence the cost of operation and transport and therefore
were most important to UMC.
We looked at logistics locations throughout western Slovakia, and the proximity of
UMC’s existing site was also a major factor in this decision.”
Mr Peter Smatrala, the Sales Director of UMC said: „In order to be able to
maintain our current level of growth, we needed a strategically located warehouse, and we
needed it in a relatively short period of time. The warehouse had to be of a high standard we
were ideally looking for something close to our production hall. Happily, the Log Center at
Nove Mesto nad Vahom met all our expectations.”
