  • Cushman & Wakefield/Stiles & Riabokobylko appointed exclusive leasing agent for ‘strazhi urala’

    Cushman & Wakefield Stiles & Riabokobylko (C&W/S&R), the Russian office of the world’s largest privately held global real estate services firm, have been appointed by ‘Strazhi Urala’ LLP as the exclusive leasing and marketing agent for the ‘Strazhi Ural’ business complex located in the heart of Ekaterinburg. The announcement of the partnership between ‘Strazhi Urala’ LLP and Cushman & Wakefield Stiles & Riabokobylko was announced today at a press conference held in Ekaterinburg, Russia’s fifth biggest city.

    ‘Strazhi Urala’ (Guards of the Urals) is a 300,787 sq m mixed-use project on Ekaterinburg’s main street – Leninsky Prospekt. When complete the buildings will resemble two giants or guards protecting the city. The two towers will be connected via a bridge.

    Project Details:

    • The project was initiated by the investor – ‘Strazhi Urala’ LLP (Russia);
    • Owner – RDK Group LLP (Russia);
    • Structural designer – Valode & Pistre (France);
    • Contractor – Bouygues Bâtiment International (France);
    • Consultants – Ohnium Technique International (France) and OPIM International (Switzerland);
    • Concept was developed by Cushman & Wakefield Stiles & Riabokobylko.

    The complex will consist of the following main elements:
    • North Tower (Height – 183 m, 41 floors of Class A office space and a restaurant with a panoramic restaurant).
    • South Tower (Height – 163 m, 36 floors of Class A offices, apartments, sports and fitness facilities).
    • Bridge (architectural and functional link between towers, includes gallery with access to restaurants and retail area).
    • Stylobate (offices and service providers around the atrium, two shopping floors to the east of the North Tower).
    • Over 1700 parking places.

    The project will be rolled out in two phases with the construction of the North Tower planned for completion by the fourth quarter of 2011. Construction has already begun. The South Tower which will break ground in the first half of 2008 is scheduled for delivery at the end of 2012.
