Global real estate advisor Cushman & Wakefield is opening a new office in Dubai to serve
all of the major regional markets of the UAE, the Gulf States, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
From its new Dubai office, Cushman & Wakefield will offer a full range of transaction and
consultancy services to Middle Eastern and international clients and provide overseas
investment advice for local investors looking at global markets served by the Cushman &
Wakefield worldwide network.
Michael Atwell, a partner at Cushman & Wakefield, has relocated to Dubai to head up the
office and to oversee its future expansion. Michael has worked previously in the Middle East
and, for the past seven years, has led successfully the capital markets team in Warsaw. Other
members of the Cushman & Wakefield team in the Middle East include Allon van den Bergh as
head of client services, Hannah Jeffrey for the capital markets group and Henry Connell for
client solutions.
Cushman & Wakefield is already working with major international companies such as NSN,
Nokia and GlaxoSmithKline and the firm represents a number of well known major Middle Eastern
funds on a worldwide basis. Cushman & Wakefield expects to double the size of its team
within the next 12 months and will be recruiting in the region.
