  • Cushman & Wakefield Retained By Noisette To Bring To Market One Of The Largest Sustainable Redevelopment Projects In The U.S.

    Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s preeminent real estate services firm, announced today that The Noisette Company, LLC, has appointed the firm consultant for one of the largest sustainable redevelopment project in the United States, the 340-acre The Navy Yard at Noisette. The Navy Yard is the urban heart of the 3,000-acre Noisette Community, a master-planned, sustainable revitalization effort in North Charleston called The New American City.

    The Navy Yard at Noisette is a master planned sustainable (environmentally-conscious) redevelopment on the grounds of the former North Charleston, SC Navy base. The project is directed by one of the leading sustainable development experts in the U.S., Noisette Company CEO, John L. Knott, Jr.   Noisette Company developed the master plan for the City of North Charleston for the entire Noisette 3,000 acre area. Noisette has been successful in acquiring and entitling the Navy Yard for up to 6 million square feet of commercial development and up to 5,600 units of housing.

    Cushman &Wakefield Global Consulting will provide development advisory services to develop a “go to market” strategy utilizing a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, including capital markets, valuation, multi-family, retail, hospitality and commercial brokerage services.  Cushman & Wakefield Alliance member, Coppedge & Tison, will provide local brokerage services and an extraordinary level of local market intelligence.
