Cushman & Wakefield launches its Luxembourg office

To this day, the international professional real estate consultant, which has been active in Luxembourg for more than 20 years, used to manage its operations from its Brussels headquarters, building strong local foundations in retail brokerage, asset management, investments, and valuation. Basing itself thereon, Cushman & Wakefield wishes to pursue the development of its own office in Luxembourg, which will offer the entire range of professional real estate services, among which a local Office Agency department that will be launched soon. The target of this Luxembourg office is to grow organically, with a current team of 5 expected to expand to 8 professionals by the end of 2011.

The Luxembourg professional real estate market is characterized by strong rents, a relatively low vacancy rate, great dynamics, stable values, and a healthy growth. In Belgium, Cushman & Wakefield is a clear leader in various sectors of the professional real estate market. In Luxembourg, the consultant is already leading the letting market in shopping centres, and has the ambition to expand this position to high street locations. 2011 marks Cushman & Wakefield?s seventh year in a row as leader of the Brussels office letting market. The launch of its own office department in Luxembourg, a very strong and stable market, came as a natural step further.
The first edition of a new market report, Luxembourg Retail and Office Market Report, published on the occasion of this grand opening, stresses this combined ambition aiming at both retail and office markets.
