Horizont, a Czech manufacturer of exhibition modules, and the chemist chain Rossmann have
recently rented storage space in the Prologis Park Uzice. Horizont has taken up 7,000 sq m and
set up its production and warehouse space there. As for Rossmann, the company added another
1,500 sq m to its existing premises.
The consultancy Cushman & Wakefield facilitated the lease of the space for
Horizont, representing the park owner in the transaction.
“Prologis Park Uzice currently offers an unmatched price of EUR 2.5 per sq m per month
for the lease of storage space and EUR 8 per sq m for offices. The park is located on the D8
motorway in the outward bound direction from Prague towards Germany. Hence, companies
orientated on the German market can take up space in a strategic location on what are
historically the best terms,” says Lukáš Šaling of Cushman &
Wakefield’s Industrial Team who worked on the transaction.
Two factors influenced the selection of the Uzice Park – the headquarters of Horizont
are located nearby. The second factor was the attractive price. The company relocated to the
new premises in April.
The park’s developer, Prologis, is currently offering short-term leases of space with
flexible sizes ranging from 3,000 to 20,000 sq m as well as the development of new, tailor-made
premises.
