    New Delhi, January 13, 2009: Cushman & Wakefield, the world's largest privately held real estate services firm and leading retail real estate services provider announced today an exclusive strategic alliance with Technopak, India?s premier Management Consulting firm in retail, to establish an integrated platform of end-to-end retail services.
    The partnership serves to deepen Cushman & Wakefield's capabilities for its clients in the retail industry by providing access to Technopak?s retail strategy and consulting services, while enabling Technopak?s clients to access Cushman & Wakefield's global platform of real estate market intelligence, management expertise and a broad range of real estate services. The alliance would have over 500 dedicated talented professionals having diversified skill base in retail industry with geographic reach across 100 cities in India
    Cushman & Wakefield & Technopak would collectively have a market share to over 50% in the retail services sector and the formidable alliance will further assist both the companies to gain greater market control and provide their clients a unique and unmatched platform of knowledge based advice backed by execution capabilities.

    In an estimate by C&W the total demand is expected to be approximately 95 million sq.ft. by 2012 with the majority (approximately 79 million sq.ft,) demand being concentrated in the Tier I cities. This would further increase the size and potential of professional retail services in India.
