Cushman & Wakefield Of Oregon Hires Top-Performing Office Broker Team

Cushman & Wakefield of Oregon, Inc. announced today it has hired the top-performing office brokerage team of Dan Swift and Lana Baldock as senior directors to help lead its Downtown Portland and Suburban Office Leasing and Sales efforts.

Swift and Baldock, who together have nearly 30 years’ brokerage expertise, come to Cushman & Wakefield from The Trammell Crow Company. Prior to Trammell Crow, they had been a senior-level team for more than seven years at CB Richard Ellis.

Swift served as senior vice president of the office division at Trammell Crow. At CB Richard Ellis, where he also served as senior vice president, he successfully completed more than 370 lease and sale transactions valued in excess of $400 million. He was named Commercial Association of Realtors’ (CAR) Office Broker of the Year for Oregon and Southwest Washington for 2005.

Swift’s tenant representation business has been built around his multi-market representation of some of Portland’s largest law firms including Bullivant Houser Bailey and Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, as well as the representation work he has done with other large corporate clients such as AIG, Parametrix, PNC Bank and Rentrak Corporation in the Portland Metropolitan area.

Earlier in his 20-year career, Swift served as associate director at Cushman & Wakefield of Oregon, where he was named Rookie of the Year in 1989. There, he negotiated more than 500 lease and sales transactions and was named one of the top seven brokers in four different years.

Baldock served as vice president of the office division at Trammell Crow. At CB Richard Ellis, she served as vice president for six years and prior to that as the marketing manager for four years. While at CB Richard Ellis, she participated in 370 lease and sale transactions valued in excess of $400 million and was named one of the company’s top brokers in 2004 and 2005.

Baldock has focused much of her attention on representing notable landlords such as UBS Realty Investors, McMorgan & Company, Hemstreet Development and St. Paul Travelers. She has also represented premier corporate clients including DA Davidson & Co., Stantec Consulting Group, GMAC, Action Sports Media and TUV America.

Swift received two bachelors’ degrees, one in finance and one in marketing, from Portland State University. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), a licensed broker for the State of Oregon and a licensed salesperson for the State of Washington.

Baldock received a bachelor’s degree from Portland State University. She is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) , a licensed broker in the State of Oregon, a licensed salesperson in the State of Washington and she serves on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Chapter of the Commercial Association of Realtors.
