Cobalt, the UK's largest business park, is set to welcome another high profile tenant when
global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing giant Accenture relocates to
Cobalt early this year from Newcastle.
Accenture have acquired Cobalt 15a (30,515 sq ft) via a 10 year lease to accommodate a UK
global delivery centre. The building will initially accommodate 250 staff and the operation is
expected to expand further at Cobalt.
Cobalt 15a provides an air conditioned state of the art office building providing large open
floor plates over three floors. The building benefits from a triple height feature reception
area, as well as 3m clear floor to ceiling height.
Accenture will join Santander, Orange, Procter & Gamble, Hewlett Packard, G4S, Newcastle
Building Society, North Tyneside Council and DWP at the 1.86 million sq ft scheme.
Adrian Hill, director, Highbridge Properties, developers of Cobalt, said: "We are
delighted to welcome Accenture to the business community at Cobalt. By choosing Cobalt
Accenture has underscored Cobalt's appeal to major corporate organisations. We see Accenture's
decision as part of a national trend of service sector companies moving to prime office park
locations."
Cushman & Wakefield acted for Highbridge and BNP Paribas Real Estate represented
Accenture.
