Hasselt attractive city for retailers

In Hasselt four transactions were closed in two months, with the help of Cushman & Wakefield. The Koning Albertstraat is one of the main shopping streets and is now welcoming retailers LG Bags (540 sq.m, Koning Albertstraat 31) and Street One (135 sq.m, Koning Albertstraat 18). Mexx renewed its lease of 800 sq.m at Hoogstraat 28, whereas America Today rents a shop with a floor area of 474 sq.m (Hoogstraat 18-24).
Hasselt is a top regional shopping city, thanks to an attractive city center with a good mix of general and specialty shops, hotels, restaurants and bars. The axis Demerstraat, Hoogstraat and Koning Albertstraat is free of traffic, which attracts many shoppers and day trippers.
