Global Market Access Solutions Practice Adds Top Talent, Continues to Win

Following increased client demand for its Business Consulting services, Cushman &
Wakefield’s Global Consulting Group today announced that two distinguished management
consulting executives have joined its Global Market Access Solutions practice.
Matt Jackson has joined the group as Consulting Partner based in McLean, Virginia, where he
will co-direct the Global Market Access Solutions practice with France Houdard based in
Shanghai, China.
Matt Highfield has joined the group as Consulting Managing Principal based in
Minneapolis.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Consulting Group designs real estate solutions and
platforms that enable better business performance, increased revenue and reduced costs.
The Global Market Access Solutions practice assists clients in the rationalization and
optimization of their global footprint, and in the development and execution of market entry
and site selection strategies.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Jackson was with Deloitte Consulting as a
senior manager for Strategy and Operations. He has more than 11 years of experience
assisting corporations with the global configuration and optimization of corporate operations
to achieve revenue, margin and innovation objectives. He has extensive experience in
assisting companies with SG&A (Sales, General and Administrative) deployment, structural
cost management, supply chain optimization, global location strategies, international site
selection, negotiations of real estate and economic development incentives, and the transition
and migration of operations. Mr. Jackson has conducted more than 100 related engagements
for corporate clients.
Mr. Jackson’s extensive field experience spans the globe and includes Argentina,
Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Hungary, India,
Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Switzerland and the United
States.
A highly regarded expert in his field, Mr. Jackson has been quoted in Time International and
Industry Week on functional placement related topics, has presented at a number of Shared
Services conferences, and has led roundtable discussions with Fortune 500 companies’
executives. Mr. Jackson has published a number of articles in trade magazines such as
Global Corporate Xpansion and Area Development.
Mr. Highfield was previously with Deloitte Consulting as a senior manager in the
firm’s Strategy & Operations practice. He has more than nine years of
management consulting experience advising large corporate clients on their global location
strategy and platform optimization. His experience spans multiple industries including
life sciences, consumer business, diversified manufacturing, professional services, automotive,
financial services, energy, and transportation companies.
Throughout his career, Mr. Highfield has focused on the development of competitively
sustainable global business platforms and the selection of locations synergistic with cost and
quality goals. His specific competencies include conducting detailed field evaluation of
complex emerging markets, redeployment scenario identification and business case development,
inspection and qualification of sites and facilities, and the negotiation of real estate and
economic development incentives.
A highly respected and well-known expert in his field, Mr. Highfield has presented at a
number of Shared Services and Contact Center conferences and contributed to numerous white
papers focused on global redeployment of back office operations. He has on-the-ground
experience across all continents including project experience in China, India, The Philippines,
Malaysia, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Dominican
Republic and Canada.
