Farrelly of Cushman & Wakefield Named to Boy Scouts Board of Directors

Local Commercial Real Estate Executive to Serve on Daniel Webster Council's Board

Cushman & Wakefield is pleased to announce Thomas P. Farrelly, SIOR and Executive Director with the Manchester, New Hampshire office has been elected as a Council Executive Board Member for the Daniel Webster Council of Manchester of the Boy Scouts of America. The Daniel Webster Council serves the entire state of New Hampshire.

The Daniel Webster Council was formed in 1929 to provide New Hampshire's youth with the Boy Scouts of America program of character, citizenship and fitness development. Currently, the Council has more than 600 organizations in New Hampshire chartered to deliver Scouting programs with more than 6,500 adult volunteers serving upwards of 22,000 youth.

"It is an honor to serve on the Board of such a fine organization as the Boy Scouts," said Farrelly. "The Daniel Webster Council provides New Hampshire youth with a tremendous service and I am excited to work with them to continue their efforts for such an excellent cause."

Mr. Farrelly joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1986 and soon after opened the Manchester, New Hampshire office. Mr. Farrelly specializes in the leasing, disposition and acquisition of office and industrial properties. As Executive Director and lead member of Cushman & Wakefield's New Hampshire team, Tom has completed in excess of 17,000,000 square feet of transactions on behalf of clients such as BlueCross/BlueShield, Timberland, Raytheon, Kana Communications and Lockheed Martin. Tom has earned more than 15 awards over his 19-year career and was Cushman & Wakefield of New England's "Top Producing Broker" and the recipient of both the Cushman & Wakefield Regional and National Client Service Excellence Awards for 2001. Mr. Farrelly has achieved the prestigious SIOR designation and sits on its Board of Directors as well as the CIBOR Board of Directors. Tom graduated from Plymouth State College in 1982 with a B.A. degree in marketing and currently resides in Bedford with his wife and three children.
