Dan Svachula Joins as Director, Agency Leasing

Cushman & Wakefield of Illinois, Inc. (C&W) announces the hiring of Dan Svachula as Agency Leasing Director in its Corporate Occupier and Investor Services (CIS) Group. Mr. Svachula will be based out of C&W's Rosemont office and brings over 12 years of commercial real estate brokerage and asset management experience to the firm. He will play a key role in building C&W's Suburban Chicago Agency Leasing Group.

Dan's extensive leasing experience and strong relationships with suburban landlords help deepen our service offering in that area."

Mr. Svachula joins C&W from Younan Properties, where he served as Regional Leasing Manager. While at Younan, Mr. Svachula managed the leasing of a seven-building, 1.7-million-square-foot portfolio and oversaw 34 new leases totaling over 266,000 square feet. He previously also worked at Transwestern Commercial Services, growing suburban assignments from a single 150,000-square-foot building to a twenty-two-building, 3.4-million-square-foot portfolio. Some of the clients Mr. Svachula has represented include: Siete 7, Transwestern Investment Company, StoneCreek Properties, Romanek Properties, Prime Group Realty Trust and GreenCourte Partners.

Mr. Svachula studied economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a five-time CoStar PowerBroker award winner and a member of the Chicago Office Leasing Broker Association (COLBA).
