Cushman & Wakefield has been retained by Morrison & Foerster to provide project
management and brokerage services for the renovation and expansion of their current
headquarters space at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.
The total project encompasses approximately 142,000 square feet. Cushman &
Wakefield’s Michael Solomon will lead a project management team responsible for the
design and construction process; coordination with the landlord; and integration of security,
audio visual and technology. The new space will include a conference center, offices and an
internal staircase. Audrey Cramer of Cushman & Wakefield will serve as real estate advisor
to Morrison & Foerster and will assist in subletting portions of the new space.
The renovation project is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2008. The Class-A
building is located at the corner of 20th and 21st Streets at the George
Washington University Campus. Built in the late 1980s, the building features numerous shops and
dining establishments. The architects are Mancini Duffy and general contracting services will
be conducted by HITT Contracting.
