At a broker open house held on Friday, March 16th, General Growth Properties,
Inc. (NYSE: GGP) announced that $1.8 million would be invested in improvements at Columbia
Corporate Center, a seven-building office complex in Columbia Town Center totaling 876,475
square feet.
Over 50 commercial real estate professionals and members of the Howard County Economic
Development attended the event, held at Union Jack's Columbia. Speakers included Howard County
Economic Development director Laura Neuman and General Growth Properties vice president
LucAndre Picotte. Cushman & Wakefield, leasing agent for Columbia Corporate Campus,
co-hosted the event.
A model suite in 10 Corporate Center was recently renovated and showcased at the open house.
Other model suites will be completed within the next few weeks. 10 and 20 Corporate Center will
have fully remodeled lobbies, updated common corridors and new building directory systems.
Exterior renovations are planned at 10, 20 and 30 Corporate Center, including new lighting,
landscaping, outdoor seating and renovating the building entryways. A campus-wide building
signage program is planned to help easily identify the buildings.
Columbia Corporate Center currently has office space available sized from 997 square feet to
34,653 square feet. Located adjacent to The Mall in Columbia with 250 shops and eateries, the
office complex offers views of Symphony Woods Park and Lake Kittamaqundi, as well as easy
access to major thoroughfares. Cushman & Wakefield agents Hayes Merkert and Karen
Cherry lease the office buildings on behalf of GGP.
