Sherman Miller Named 2006 Realtor Of The Year

Cushman & Wakefield’s Denver executive receives award from DMCAR
Cushman & Wakefield today announced that Sherman Miller was named the 2006 Realtor of the Year by the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors, one of the most prominent and largest trade associations in the United States.
Mr. Miller, a real estate professional for more than 28 years, joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1995 and now oversees brokerage, property management and appraisal professionals as the executive managing director, area leader and branch manager of the Denver office for Cushman & Wakefield. He is also the west area leader for Cushman & Wakefield’s Phoenix and Las Vegas operations.
Mr. Miller received the 2006 Realtor of the Year award for working towards making Denver a better city. He has led his team in many successful achievements, including ensuring the Denver International Airport was completed and that a National League baseball franchise, the Colorado Rockies, had a Denver presence.
“I am so grateful for this recognition, but I could not have done it without my team at Cushman & Wakefield,” said Mr. Miller. “The company represents professionalism, dedication and expertise and I try to be living proof of that.”
In 2000, Mr. Miller received Cushman & Wakefield’s National Branch Manager of the Year award for his team’s work in Denver. He is also an active member in many Denver civic organizations including the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Denver Partnership, National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, University of Colorado Real Estate Council, University of Denver, Creative Adoptions, the Metro Denver Sports Commission and Urban Land Institute.
