Seefried Properties, Inc. of Atlanta has purchased 10.25 acres of land at the southwest
corner of 83rd Avenue and Van Buren for a price of $3,337,000.
The developer plans to create an industrial complex on the property, which will contain two
buildings totaling approximately 156,000 square feet. The schedule calls for construction
to begin in January and occupancy to be available mid-2008.
“This was a great acquisition for Seefried. It is their first in the Phoenix
market, which made it important to find a site that they could build on quickly. We
identified an entitled site, with excellent access to the I-10 freeway, within a very
cooperative municipality. It fits in well with Seefried’s development plan,”
says Paul Tuchin with Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona, Inc.
Seefried Properties, Inc. purchased the land from General Development Co. of Southfield,
MI.
Tuchin, D.J. Mahoney and Rob Stephens of Cushman & Wakefield represented Seefried
Properties, Inc. in the acquisition. The seller was self-represented.
Rob Stephens and Jeff Stapley of Cushman & Wakefield will serve as exclusive leasing
agents for the new development.
