Mills And Detmer Receive Red Award As Valley’s Sales Brokers Of The Year

Bo Mills and Mark Detmer, senior directors with Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona, Inc., were recently honored at the AZRE/Arizona Commercial Real Estate Magazine’s RED Awards presentation as the Valley’s Industrial Brokers of the Year focused on sales.

The second annual RED Awards were held in February, recognizing excellence in development and real estate brokerage within a variety are of product, ranging from hospitality and multi-family to industrial, retail and office properties.

Mills and Detmer were recognized as the Valley’s Sales Brokers of the Year within the medium-sized brokerage firms comprised of 21-50 licensed agents. The industrial properties specialists completed 18 sales transactions in 2006, which totaled $130,264,762.08 in sales revenue. The sales transactions involved nearly 500 acres of land and nearly a million square feet of constructed space. The team also represented both landlords and tenants in over 1.6 million square feet of lease transactions.

The largest transaction completed in 2006 by Mills and Detmer involved the $36 million dollar sale of approximately 111 acres of land near the northwest corner of 99^th and Glendale avenues.

In addition, Mills and Detmer were responsible for the $32 million sale of a 552,330-square-foot industrial property developed by Buzz Oates at 7037 West Van Buren.
