Adam Klimek Promoted To Associate Director

Commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield today announced the promotion of brokerage professional Adam Klimek to the position of associate director. Mr. Klimek, previously an associate, is based in the firm’s Stamford, Conn. office.

Mr. Klimek specializes in tenant and landlord representation services in Fairfield and Westchester County. He has represented such tenants as Heineken, Pitney Bowes, SFAFT, Advantage HR, DB Zwirn and Ikon and is currently representing more than 762,000 sf of office space for landlords in Fairfield County. He is part of the brokerage leasing team for High Ridge Park, a 572,823-square-foot, six-building office complex in Stamford, and for the 100,000-sf 750 East Main Street property, also in Stamford. He also handles leasing assignments on behalf of several landlords for more than 200,000 sf in Westport, CT.

Mr. Klimek was recently recognized as Cushman & Wakefield’s 2006 “Associate of the Year” for the New York area.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield’s Stamford office in 2004, Mr. Klimek was the commission accountant with the firm’s Boston office from 2003 - 2004. In that role, he provided accounting services for the Northeast region, including Hartford and New Hampshire. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he was in sales and marketing for Putnam Investments, specializing in mutual funds and variable annuities.

Mr. Klimek received a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. He resides in South Norwalk.
