
Cushman & Wakefield's Future Leaders (CWFL) Group held its first annual Bowl-A-Thon for the
Fairfield and Westchester County real estate industry on October 22, 2012 and raised $25,000
for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. The event took place at the AMF Rip Van Winkle Lanes at 701
Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, Conn.
The event drew more than 150 people: 20 bowling teams, as well as a large number of real estate
industry professionals who cheered on the participants. The winner of the event was Baywater
Properties; the second-place winner was the brokerage team captained by James Ritman of Newmark
Grubb Knight Frank.
The event was organized by CWFL members Adam Klimek and Brian Scruton, both C&W associate
directors. Sponsors for the event included a wide range of real estate industry companies:

fundraiser are Clint Dewey, Greg Kenny, Matthew Lisk, Bill Montague and Torey Walsh.
Adam Klimek discussed the fundraiser, "We were extremely pleased with the response and
turnout to the CWFL Bowl-A-Thon. It was an awesome event and it was very gratifying to see our
real estate industry colleagues support such a worthy cause."
Brian Scruton added, "Since this fundraiser was so successful, we've decided to make it an
annual event. Not only did everyone have a good time but, more importantly, we raised a
substantial amount of money for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Our thanks to all of our sponsors
and participants who gave so generously."
