One Rotary Center Wins BOMA/Suburban Chicago TOBY Award

One Rotary Center, a building located in Evanston, Illinois and managed by Cushman &
Wakefield of Illinois, Inc. (C&W), has won The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY)
Award from the Building Owners and Managers Association of Suburban Chicago (BOMA/Suburban
Chicago) for 2011/2012. The building received the award in the 250,000 to 400,000 square feet
(sf) category. Sandra Gutierrez, General Manager of the building and a C&W employee,
accepted the award at BOMA/Suburban Chicago's annual TOBY Dinner. The building also won the
award in 2010/2011.
Of the building's management, the TOBY judges said, "This team is perpetually in
improvement mode;" "Very impressive;" "Way to go!"
One Rotary Center is a 368,767 square foot, Class A office building located in downtown
Evanston, Illinois. Due to the approximately 2,000 visitors the building receives annually from
around the world, One Rotary Center has unique management requirements. Cushman &
Wakefield's management team works closely with Rotary International to coordinate hosting
visitors in the building while maintaining the property without disruption to other
tenants.
Part of BOMA International and founded in 1970, BOMA/Suburban Chicago seeks to represent and
promote the commercial real estate industry in Suburban Chicago through leadership, advocacy,
education, professional development and information analysis. Through the TOBY program, the
organization recognizes properties that exemplify outstanding quality and management practices
in the area. The properties are selected for the effectiveness of their overall management in
11 categories, including community impact, tenant relations, energy management, emergency
