Addison Building Sold To National Reinsurance Company

Facility Will Become Firm’s Regional Office and Contact Center

SouthwestRE, recognized as one of the most knowledgeable organizations in the reinsurance arena, has purchased a 15,201 square- foot office building located at 15920 Addison Road in Addison, Texas. The company plans to use the facility for a regional office and customer contact center.

Rick Hughes, Noel Hutcheson and Stephen Lehn from the Dallas office of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. represented SouthwestRE in the acquisition. Cash McWhorter and Scott Morse of Colliers International negotiated on behalf of the seller, Broadcast News Corp

The building, which was built in 1997, is a single-story office structure. Abundant parking, with a ratio of 8 per 1,000 square feet, and the Addison location, were the prime characteristics of the property that attracted SouthwestRE. The reinsurance company is currently leasing the facility back to Broadcast News Corp and will occupy the building in the coming months.
