Cushman & Wakefield today announced the expansion of its national retail services
operation to Long Island. Retail real estate professional Nicole Paris-Suozzi has joined the
firm as Director in the Retail Services Group, responsible for spearheading Long Island retail
brokerage.
Ms. Suozzi most recently served as Director, Retail Group for Oxford & Simpson in
Jericho, NY, where she initiated and developed the firm’s retail brokerage
business. The roster of tenants she has represented includes Leslie’s Pools, Bang
& Olufsen, Poliform, Drexel Heritage/Furniture Brands International, Rochester Big &
Tall, Poggenpohl, Sylvan Learning Centers, Stark Carpet, and Solana Med Spas. She has also
represented a number of landlords on Long Island.

Prior to beginning a career in real estate, Ms. Suozzi served as Vice President,
Institutional Equity Sales and Trading for Oppenheimer & Co., in New York. In that
capacity she covered major institutional accounts and hedge funds and researched, sold and
executed trading ideas. Previously, she held positions with Merrill Lynch Capital Markets
and Credit Suisse First Boston in New York.
Ms. Suozzi has been affiliated with many charitable organizations, most actively with Save
the Children Leadership Council of Long Island where she currently serves as a board member.
Other charitable organizations in which she serves include the Bone Marrow Foundation and Cold
Spring Harbor Lab's "Jazz at the Lab" event. She is also involved with the
Women's Executive Network, an outgrowth of the Nassau County Museum of Art.
She holds a B.A. in History from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and an M.B.A. in Finance
from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Ms. Suozzi resides in Upper Brookville, NY with her husband Chris Suozzi and four
children.
