Global real estate consultants DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield have recently announced the
relocation of Convatec, an American medical technology company, that will have their Portuguese
headquarters located at the Orange Building, in Oeiras, near Lisbon.
In this transaction, DTZ acted on behalf of the tenant, and Cushman & Wakefield
represented the owner of the Orange Building, Portuguese developer BIERT.
The Orange building is part of Office to Office (O2O), a 7,644 m2 new office park in
Leião/Oeiras, on Lisbon’s so-called Western Corridor. The business park has three two-story
buildings, 220 underground parking spaces and 90 above ground.
DTZ will also be responsible for Convatec’s office fit-out, in which it will ensure the
project is completed on time and in accordance with the company’s international standards.
According to Jorge Bota, Head of Agency at DTZ in Portugal, “DTZ has vast international and
local experience, having worked with the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies and has
in-depth knowledge of their requirements and high levels of quality in terms of property and
consultancy services”.
Carlos Domingos of Cushman & Wakefield’s Office Agency Department, and responsible for
this transaction, commented: “Convatec chose Orange, based on features available in this new
office park, namely the excellent price/quality ratio and the flexibility provided.”
