Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) has made four appointments in its UK valuation team with
the recruitment of Rupert De Barr from Drivers Jonas Deloitte and Dudley Holme-Turner, Graham
Saunders & Richard Ching from DTZ. The appointments are part of its plans to expand
significantly the firm’s valuation team and range of valuation services in the UK and
Europe.
Rupert De Barr was at Drivers Jonas for 25 years, including 21 years as a partner and
head of investment valuation. He joins C&W as a partner and will continue to
specialise in loan security work for and on behalf of banks. Prior to Drivers Jonas he
was with St. Quintin for seven years. He is a graduate of Cambridge University. He
joins C&W as a partner this week.
Dudley Holme-Turner has been with DTZ for 13 years and is currently a director in its UK
valuation team specialising in loan security valuations and also joint head of the corporate
recovery and restructuring team. In addition to loan security valuations these projects
have included due diligence in company acquisitions and mergers and advice as well as recovery
and restructuring advice. Major clients include both major lending institutions and
property companies. Prior to DTZ he was with Lambert Smith Hampton specialising in professional
services. He was educated at the University of Hull and City University, London and joins
C&W as a partner on 28th June.
Graham Saunders has been with DTZ for nearly four years and is currently an associate
director in its UK valuation team specializing in loan security valuations. Prior to DTZ
he was with Dalton Warner Davis LLP for nearly 10 years undertaking a wide variety of general
practice work.. He is a graduate of The University of Leicester and London South Bank
University. He will start at C&W on 19th July and will join the firm
as an associate.
Richard Ching has been with DTZ for three years and is currently a senior surveyor in the
European Valuation Team where his specialist areas include factory outlet malls. Prior to
DTZ he was with the Valuation Office Agency. He is a graduate of Aberdeen
University. He joins C&W as a senior surveyor on 6th May.
