Cybele Thompson Joins Client Solutions

Cushman & Wakefield is pleased to announce that Cybele L. Thompson has joined the firm’s Client Solutions group as a Director based in the Los Angeles Downtown office. In her new role, Ms Thompson will be overseeing a portfolio of properties in the Greater Los Angeles market.

Ms. Thompson was previously with Trizec Properties/CarrAmerica as a Vice President/General Manager responsible for the operations and leasing in the San Diego area. Prior to that, Ms. Thompson worked for PM Realty Group as a Regional Vice President overseeing all property management and leasing efforts for a portfolio of San Diego properties totaling approximately 2.6 million square feet.

Ms. Thompson began her career in real estate in San Diego performing hospitality appraisals and consulting for Laventhol & Horwath. She moved on to become an asset manager and later on vice president of asset management and leasing at Mitsui Kensetsu Development overseeing a national portfolio of approximately 1.5 million square feet of properties.

Ms. Thompson received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca, NY, with a major in Real Estate and Finance.

An active member of the community, Ms. Thompson has served as President of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) California, President of BOMA San Diego, President of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) San Diego, Board of Directors for California Business Properties Association and a number of other business associations and community programs. She is also a recipient of numerous business and industry awards.
