Cushman & Wakefield today announced the sale of 5360 NW 35th Ave., a 70,000-square-foot
industrial building located in Fort Lauderdale Commerce Center. Good Roads, a Florida-based
wheels and tires manufacturer, acquired the property from Nat and Sam Butters. The sale price
was $4.5 million.
Cushman & Wakefield's Chris Metzger, Rick Etner, Sky Groden, Christopher Thomson and
Justin Cope represented the sellers in marketing the property and in negotiations with Good
Roads.
"We've seen a significant increase in industrial sales activity in Broward County, and
with the market picking up, this property received a great deal of interest from investors and
users alike," said Mr. Metzger, an executive director at Cushman & Wakefield.
Two tenants currently occupy 20,000 square feet in the building. Good Roads will move into
the remaining 50,000 square feet, expanding from its existing owned facility at 3600 Northwest
54th Street, also located in Fort Lauderdale Commerce Center.
Located just off Commercial Boulevard on NW 35th Avenue between West Prospect Road and NW
53rd Street, 5360 NW 35th Ave. features 5,000 square feet of office space, 24-foot clear
ceiling heights, eight dock-high doors and is 100 percent air conditioned. The property is
strategically located between I-95 and the Florida Turnpike.
