Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately-held commercial real estate services
firm today announced the appointment Ulf Buhlemann who joined Cushman & Wakefield’s German
Valuation & Advisory team on 1st July as a Partner and also as a member of the German
Board. He is based in Berlin, from where, together with Martin Belik in Frankfurt, he will
spearhead the expansion of the German Valuation & Advisory business and leverage the
Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) global Valuation & Advisory platform for national and
international clients.
Buhlemann joins Cushman & Wakefield with over 20 years of professional experience. In
2003, he helped establish the valuation team at CBRE which he led as Managing Director until
2009. He was also a member of the Strategic Development Boards and CBRE’s EMEA Strategic
Executive Group for Valuation. Prior to this, he was an owner of the consulting firm Mercato
Consult and was an independent real-estate advisor at Bulwien + Partner GmbH, now BulwienGesa
AG, and Immocon in Berlin.
Martin Belik and Buhlemann are both Publicly Appointed and Sworn Surveyors and Fellows of
the RICS. Belik has been with Cushman & Wakefield for ten years and has led the Valuation
& Advisory department in Germany since 2007. He was previously a board member of a project
developer in Prague and also has over 20 years’ professional experience.
