In a move to further grow its expanding operations in Southern California, Cushman &
Wakefield announced today that Dwight Hotchkiss has been named Branch Manager for the Downtown
Los Angeles office.
In his new position, Mr. Hotchkiss will oversee all operations for the firm’s office
in Downtown Los Angeles, which includes 200 employees. He succeeds Chris Cooper, who has been
promoted to a high level executive position in the firm’s Client Solutions Group.
Prior to taking his new responsibility, Mr. Hotchkiss was a Senior Managing Director,
leading the Western Region for the firm’s Industrial Services Group. He oversaw the
continued expansion of Cushman & Wakefield’s industrial practice, working closely
with senior brokerage professionals and branch managers to develop recruiting and business
development strategies for the West Coast.
Prior to joining management in 2007, Mr. Hotchkiss earned a reputation for being one of the
top brokers in the Los Angeles market. During his 18-year tenure at Cushman &
Wakefield, he has completed more than 400 transactions. Known for outstanding client
interface, Mr. Hotchkiss was awarded the National Service Excellence Award, receiving a top
client approval rating in 2001. He currently sits on the Cushman & Wakefield Executive
Industrial Advisory Board.
“Having demonstrated strong leadership throughout his career at Cushman &
Wakefield, Dwight was a natural choice to run the Downtown Los Angeles operations,” said
Joe Vargas, Cushman & Wakefield’s Executive Managing Director and Area Leader for
Southern California. “He is a respected leader with a passion for the business and
the ideal person to lead us to new heights of accomplishment in Downtown Los
Angeles.”
