Australia's most outstanding real estate professionals honoured

Laing+Simmons Commercial, Cushman & Wakefield's associate in Australia, was honoured last night at the inaugural REIA National Awards for Excellence when it received the award for Commercial Agency of the Year. The prestigious award recognises Laing + Simmons Commercial's outstanding performance in the commercial real estate sector.

The REIA National Awards for Excellence aim to encourage, recognise and promote excellence and best practice in the real estate profession. Laing+Simmons Commercial had previously been honoured in the NSW Real Estate Institute Awards last year and was up against finalists representing the rest of Australia.

'All the finalists in the REIA National Awards for Excellence are to be congratulated for setting the benchmark in professionalism in real estate practice,' says Tony Brasier, REIA President.

Mr. Robert Farrell, CEO of the Laing+Simmons Group said, "We are delighted to receive the award for our Commercial operations. It reaffirms to us that our focus is right and that our objectives in terms of business growth, customer service and performance levels are bringing out excellence among our staff. This award is a tribute to their competence and to their commitment to achieving management's goals.
