On 14 April Games Workshop will open its first official store in Złote Tarasy shopping
centre in Warsaw. A leading global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield
represented the tenant.
Games Workshop is a designer, manufacturer and retailer of fantasy and futuristic war games.
It offers miniature models, hobby products and accessories. Its major brands are Warhammer
Fantasy, Warhammer 40.000 and Lord of the Ring, the tabletop battle-game based on Peter
Jackson’s film trilogy. The company is headquartered in UK and is listed on the London Stock
Exchange.
Games Workshop will occupy a 76 sq m store on the second floor of Złote Tarasy, one of the
most recognized Polish shopping centres, located in the core centre of Warsaw. It offers a wide
range of products and also provides the venue for gamers to meet and play.
“Until now the Games Workshop’s products in Poland have been sold by independent toy and
hobby shops. The opening of the first official Games Workshop store in Poland may signal the
company’s plans to increase marketing activities in our country” – said Szymon Łukasik,
Associate of retail department at Cushman & Wakefield.
The Project Management Department of Cushman & Wakefield was responsible for
coordinating the activities related to the opening of Games Workshop’s store in Warsaw.
