Cushman & Wakefield has been ranked leading UK
shopping centre letting agent in the ‘Going Shopping – The Definitive Guide to
Shopping Centres’ report published by Trevor Wood Associates today. It is the second
year running that the global property consultant has held this position.
The annual report is an analysis of shopping centre and factory outlet developments within
the UK and incorporates the hierarchy of UK shopping centres, covering over 900 schemes. The
agent ranking is based on the number and quality of instructions on leading centres.
Cushman & Wakefield’s instructions include 34 top 200 schemes. The report notes
that overall, the consultant is instructed on 59 top 500 centres, including seven top 20
schemes. These comprise: The Trafford Centre (Manchester), St David’s (Cardiff), Bullring
(Birmingham), Liverpool One (Liverpool), The Centre (Livingston), The Mall at Cribbs Causeway
(Bristol) and Brent Cross Shopping Centre (London).
