C&W recently announced the placement of a new flagship store for clothing brand Blanco in
Chiado, Lisbon.
The new store opened on 3rd June, and comprises 620 m² and is located on the corner of Rua
Garrett with Rua Ivens. This is the first Blanco store in this emblematic area of Lisbon and
will also be the brand’s first flagship store in Portugal.
Blanco, which is a Spanish company, is specialised in design, production, distribution and
sale of clothing and accessories for young men and women. The brand already has more than 190
stores in various countries, 10 of which in Portugal, including the new opening in Chiado.
In this transaction Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of Regojo group, which owns the
aforementioned store. Cushman & Wakefield was also responsible for placing a store from the
brand in LeiriaShopping last year, a transaction in which it acted on behalf of the owner of
the shopping centre, Sonae Sierra.
According to Isabella Jurado-Blanco, associate of Cushman & Wakefield’s retail
department in Portugal “Chiado is the perfect location for Blanco’s flagship store, since it is
a very trendy, young and cosmopolitan area in the capital, which reflects the brand’s values
and clothing.”
