Sonae Sierra and Miller Developments appoints C&W/H&B in Portugal

Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker's Lisbon office has been appointed to let the new retail park developed by international shopping centre specialist Sonae Sierra and UK developer Miller Developments in Darque, Viana do Castelo, in Portu. The opening is scheduled for autumn 2006.
With 10,800 sq m of gross lettable area, the Viana do Castelo Retail Park will feature ten units, with areas varying from 450 sq m to 2,800 sq m, and two restaurants, in a catchment area of 125,000 people within 20 minutes away. The scheme represents an investment of €30m.
This is Sonae Sierra's second development in Viana do Castelo, after Estação de Viana Shopping Centre, the main shopping and leisure destination in the city, also leased by C&W/H&B.
