Mark Burlton joins C&W from McArthurGlen13 Aug, 2007, EuropeMark Burlton, formerly leasing director for the UK and France at McArthurGlen, has joined Cushman & Wakefield as a partner and head of European retail tenant representation. Mark will focus on building relationships across the continent with the firm’s list of preferred and retained retailer clients. Prior to McArthurGlen Mark was European real estate director for Ralph Lauren and real estate director, northern Europe, for Foot Locker. Cushman & Wakefield works with over 500 retail clients on their real estate strategies on a country or regional basis and, increasingly, on a global and pan-European basis. Mark will report to Boris van Haare Heijmeijer, head of retail in continental Europe, and John Strachan, global head of retail. John Strachan said: “Mark’s appointment will enable us to build further on our relationships with retailers to capture the flow of business as they increasingly cross borders within Europe and beyond.”
