Cushman & Wakefield Hotels is pleased to announce the opening of its Spanish office and
expansion of its team in Central & Eastern Europe.
These appointments are in line with the firm’s aim to build on its existing hotels team and
significantly expand its presence and market share across EMEA. They follow on from the
recruitment of two specialist hotels teams in March this year, which saw KPMG’s hospitality and
leisure team move to C&W Hotels’ headquarters in London, and CB Richard Ellis’s Central
& Eastern Europe Hotels team move to C&W in Prague.
Tomás Miró
joins as an Associate Director in Madrid. Tomás comes from CBRE Spain, where he was
responsible for the brokerage and operator selection side of their hotels department. Key
successes for Tomás include the sale of four Ibis Hotels throughout Spain, worth €20 million
and the sale of the prestigious NH Sanvy in Madrid and the renowned Mansour Eddahbi Hotel in
Marrakech. He also brings a depth of knowledge in hotel valuations, having conducted
valuations for the Sol Meliá, NH Hotels, Fadesa and Metrovacesa portfolios. He has an
excellent knowledge of the Spanish market and has also completed many projects in Northern
Africa.
In Prague, C&W Hotels has recruited Keegan Viscius, who will join as an Investment
Analyst and Julia Dyving, who will join as an Analyst. Keegan comes from an operational
and development background, having worked for EMB Hotels Group in the Netherlands. He has just
completed a Masters in Financial Management from RSM Erasmus University, Rotterdam and has been
brought onboard to spearhead hotel investment growth in CEE. Julia comes from Property
Group, an active property investment firm with offices throughout northern Europe, and will
work across all services and sectors within C&W Hotels.
These two recruits have been brought in to complement C&W Hotels’ existing CEE team of
Stewart Coggans, Director and Frederic Le Fichoux, Senior Analyst. Keegan and Julia join
Stewart and Frederic in the Prague office.
Nick Pattie, Managing Director, Cushman & Wakefield Hotels says: "We are delighted
to welcome Tomás, Keegan and Julia to the C&W Hotels team to further extend our specialist
services across EMEA. New offices in Italy and the Middle East will be added this year to
complete the initial phase of our regional coverage, ensuring our clients’s growing
cross-border investment strategies are fully represented.’’
Stewart Coggans, Director – CEE, Cushman & Wakefield Hotels says: "Keegan and Julia
are great additions to our expanding regional team that services key international hotel
investment, development and consultancy instructions and reinforces our position as the leading
hotel real estate consultancy in Central Europe".
